[Tips] Reset Photoshop preferences to default

Post by Lakys » Thu Jul 17, 2008 11:04 am

I came accross an issue where my blending option dialog box was not visible on the screen.

Reset Palette Location from the menu Windows > Workspace did not help.

And I found out that there is a mean to reset all preferences.

To proceed you just need to press CTRL+SHIFT+ALT when you launch Photoshop application. Then a popup asks you whether you want do "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings Fire".

I must confess that I found this option very handy as it simply fixes the problem and would have probably helped me in several other cases.
