Indeed. Considering the name, I assume that there would be another version, a complete one including all the features. What do you think?
That's what Dan said when he presented the plugin. It's going to be like LIE, you'll be able to use the clothes with the free version, but to create them you'll have to buy the plugin.
So I guess the ability to load the clothes is already implemented at least there is a tab, but we still have to wait for the "clothes creation" plugin to come out. :P

DS v 2.3.3.146

Post by drdancm » Sat Dec 20, 2008 4:24 am

This version finally fixed my Content Manager scan problem that was introduced way back with version 2.2.x.x and which used to report that my d: partition was not connected, even though all of my DStudio had already loaded from that partition.

DAZ Studio 2.3.3.161 (Beta Release)
Drew Daniels, DAZ Staff wrote:* Fix to scaling issues so scaling in the Girl hands and feet works correctly
* Fixed methods on the rotate manipulator so that old Layered Image Editor Presets work again.
* Fixed an issue that caused the LOD configuration dialog to pop up multiple times when clearing animation from a figure. Clearing animation also no longer affects non-animatable properties.
* Fixed an initialization issue in DzStringProperty.
* LipSync Plug-in – After analyzing an audio file, the LipSync plug-in will now write out a file that contains data about what phonemes were found in the audio file. These phoneme data files are saved right next to the audio file from which they came.

DAZ Studio v 3.01.48 BETA

Post by drdancm » Fri Apr 10, 2009 8:31 pm

You can find the download link in the DAZ Studio discussion forum on DAZ3D.

It uses the newest 8.xx version of 3Delight. Most people report faster renders. Keep in mind that no 3rd party plugins work -they all need to be redone.

I along with lots of people have had problems getting our usual CONTENTS folder showing all of the stuff that shows up in DAZ 2.3.3.166 -which people are advised to keep.

When you install the Beta 3.xxx it will install to a new directory to avoid messing with your DS 2.xxx version.

This works nicely, because this BETA is really a BETA, not just the latest version. It has lots of shortcomings.

Of course I miss being able to use USMPS--as well as other plugins, esp Render Throttle.

Check it out!

Thanks,

Dan

I shall provide a fix to make USMP (or Eisha) work with DS 3.
There is only a little faulty line to change.

Be Caution, .163 scenes are not (retro)compatible with older version.
Somes problems with .163 and a complete scene destroid (thanks BetaVersion  ).
Back to .161 beta more stable

It has always been the case I think. If you save a scene with a given version, you cannot open it anymore with any version of DAZ Studio released prior to the one used to save it.
