Just to see whether the rights are set up as they should.

If you cannot see how to do it, here is a little guide.

Thank you! :)

It is what I fear. I always miss this obvious option in the admin menu ;)

Sorry... it should be fixed now. Can you give it a new try please?

Okay second attempt...

I'll add the only real try I have had to
get Victoria into a real looking woman.
Not an easy task I must say :)

Nice :)

Well I have just rendered a character which was used with clothes for some other scene I made lastly.

It is Stephanie with Miri texture (by Thorne and Sarsa).
There is some surrealistic lighting (violet) I forgot to change.

Well near the hip/leg, I really dislike the join. There is also some rather bad boundaries caused by lighting on legs. It has to be tweaked further.

Rendered in DS, no postwork.

Nice, but as you mentioned, som strange things
probably caused by the lighting:
The left leg, near the hip, it looks flat or something,
and it makes it looks like a lump there.

Hi All !!

Post by Strixowl » Sun Dec 04, 2005 12:32 am

Hi All,
Finally got here after another snowy/icy day in the North West. Burrrrr!!

Lakys, in regards to posting of pics you said "if you are unsure whether it is allowed, just make a zip archive". I'm assuming you mean underage looking characters, beastiality, porn type stuff. Am I correct? I do PinUp art that dosen't fall into any of these categories & in discussion(s) I'm wondering if they may be posted for illustration. I've been conversing with someone from the DAZ string back channel regarding some of the discussion and I found that it was so much easier if I gave some pictorial examples in some cases. Besides I've never made a zip archive

Also any size limitation etc on this forum?
Thanks & thanks for this forum

Welcome aboard Strixowl :)
Lakys, in regards to posting of pics you said "if you are unsure whether it is allowed, just make a zip archive".
No I don't think it was I said. What I mentioned about the forums was it is possible to attach files such zip archives and pictures, it also supports much more like flash, some txt, doc files...

Well I had written some guidelines which are not rules, but guidelines. I am personally a really open minded person. I don't think I am not against anything, but I wish we do not get anything really disgusting or insane. However, I know people have different sensitivities and cultures so I shall hear any feedback as well and consider them.

I don't want to put any really strict rules or censure which would badly restrict one's creativity. I believe we are all adults here and can respect ethics.

Let me give you a few examples:

What would be okay
- a simple naked teenager
- a naked child/baby with her mother
- two nude teenagers (a boy / a girl) in love
- two adult men, or two adult women in erotic scenes

What would be forbidden:
- any explicit or suggestive pedophilia
- real explicit hardcore bestiality
- explicit or suggestive scene involving rape

In the middle of this there are a lot of possibilities. If you have a doubt, you can just ask me.

Sounds great :) You can definately post them.

Absolutly! :)
Besides I've never made a zip archive :oops
You don't need to make any zip archive to post a picture here. Just attach it normally for direct display.
Also any size limitation etc on this forum?
No size limitation. If I remember correctly users have some quotas, it is rather high and can be set higher if it is required. So don't fear to upload large pic. It is okay.
If the image is really large, it might require people to scroll in the window. But I can adjust the forum template to add scrollbars dedicated to the attachments frame.
At the moment, it is not possible to attach a file bigger than 20MB.
Thanks & thanks for this forum
You're welcome Strixowl :)

I hope it will be useful (and used) ;)

The lighting was good for the face. But it seems to need much tweaking for the whole body.

Thank you for your feedback! :)

I Really Didn't Forget

Post by Strixowl » Wed Dec 07, 2005 10:09 pm

I really didn't forget this forum. Weather around here has been consuming time & a few power outages. I was thinking I would maybe share some of the questions I was being asked (back channel) and some of my answers to see about getting the ball rolling. I have some things I'd like to learn from you all to :D

Back at ya later today (Tuesday) or tomarrow
