I Really didn't forget

Post by Strixowl » Wed Dec 07, 2005 10:17 pm

I really didn't forget this forum. But I did forget where to start posting

Weather around here has been consuming time & a few power outages. I was thinking I would maybe share some of the questions I was being asked (back channel) and some of my answers to see about getting the ball rolling. I have some things I'd like to learn from you all to

Back at ya later today (Tuesday) or tomarrow
Strixowl

P.S. RAMWolf is that Polymage hair really that good? How does it work in DS?

My spirt guide is the owl thus strix. I have a large owl tattooed on my chest with the tip of each spread wing ending on the tip of each shoulder. Also Eagles, Wolves,Bison, Stag Bear etc. etc. etc here and there

Yes, the Polymage WildHair is THAT good!!

More styles and I'm sure more color options to come as well!!

I have a freebie pack too but I've not heard from Mihai about it as I wanted him to look it over and see if it needs any tweaking. It contains 12 styles and some additional fits in .ds format for all those DAZ Studio users. I have to still learn how to use that MAT pose program to export fits with some dial info saved as Poser doesn't let you save certain types of info. Plus since it's considered a prop in Poser I just can't figure out how to create a magnet that will allow me to refit it like that and save it as a spawned morph target. At least I could do my work in DAZ Studio and not have those types of issues popping up. :?

The short answer is YES, it's a great product. One of the BEST hair props out there as far as I'm concerned!! :)

Richard ;-)~

Attempting to Pick Up the String

Post by Strixowl » Thu Dec 08, 2005 9:58 pm

Just checked out the DAZ forum which brought us here and the subject immediately prior to discussing this forum seems to be a discussion on genital morph/figure products and specifically the Perfect G product from Arduino and using it with SP.

Gary_P asked in the DAZ forum in regards to the PerfectG Product
Does it work? Why would one need it?..."

First off I would like to clarify that this product and others similar to it, while having morphs, are figures (CR2's) that conform to the hip area. Some of the morphs prepare the hip to receive the genital figure, while others are for shaping and moving things around.

The first question was Does it work? To which I responded, "Yes it works pretty well." Now that we're here I will add that with these products the labia/vagina can be shaped to portray varying genital anatomy (MOR in Pose library give good starts points), the vagina can be moved up-down, forward/back or open/close and same for the clitoris (Protrude from hood/recessed in hood or up or down. Arduino's Magic Perfect G! Packs can use the texture your applying to the figure for the external texture of the genital figures (use to also provided tex/tones of his design. Not sure from current description if still does - I never used them anyway :- ) . Current description doesn't mention if he still provides internal textures for the figure, as he always has, but I would assume so.

The other question asked was, why would I need one (genital figure)?

I will say basically what I said at DAZ. You don't NEED a Genital figure for V3, SP the Girl or any other figure for that matter unless you want to render nude females where the lower half of the body (including genitals) is exposed either directly or indirectly (e.g. transparent clothing/side angles). You don'‘t NEED a Genital figure if you satisfied with the results you get from the Character texture alone, as applied to the pubic mound or the "Gen Crease" morph of the figure. But if you feel you want more realistic and 3-D definition in the pubic area of the Characters body then you do. People who do more of the X-Rated style renders of nude woman obviously need products of this type. I haven't done this type, but I still believe they enhance many of the pinups I do.

I was asked back channel as a result of the DAY discussion, if there was any chance of a real render not being censored. I assumed that meant a render with the genitals exposed.

As for a render being censored that has allot to do with the TO at the site you want to post. At times I have posted the same P.C. with slight changes so as to fit the TO. RauncyMinds, ActionBabeCenteral & Renderotica are the most liberal """EXCEPT""" when it comes to kiddie porn, or bestiality & rightfully so in my opinion. It's my own personal opinion Raunchy minds, though explicit has the most class. I also post at Renderosity, PoserPros & RDNA but I always make sure to stay within TO. If I have any question at these site I always ask the gallery moderator to take a look before I post, as I have a great respect for those who operate these galleries. And I've found they have been most helpful in all instances.

I plan on following this post with some examples of my own pics posted on different sites & in some instances the R-Version & X-Version. Each use a genital figure. So if you don't like Pinups please turn your head.

After that I'll post a few notes on products and the best pricing I've found :- )

(Space Prisoner)I posted at Renderosity which demonstrates how I was able to pass TOS, but still have protrusion/definition in the pubic area which I never could have done without the gen figure.

X-"Dancin the Pole"

Post by Strixowl » Thu Dec 08, 2005 10:24 pm

Posted at Rendererotica. I wouldn't post this at Renderosity because of the slight opening of the Vag & leg positioning.

As you will see I do Pin-Ups of varying styles. Renderosity is the most conservative place I post, but if you click through my gallery (Strixowl) you'll get some idea of what is ok in their venue. Some of the pics are my first attempts at PinUps :- )

My Rendererotica gallery is under (Strixy).

I'm not saying these pics are my best, I just think they best illustrae the answer to the last question.

I relly hope to learn more from you all regarding creating more realistic looking skin etc. I do art and am not a modeler or techie. Obviously not a speller either. Help where's spell check when ya need it? 8)
